Integrated Design

Bringing it all together

How these techniques work together

Brining water harvesting, energy harvesting and food production features together in the landscape to reduce watering, build healthy soil, optimize seasonal conditions, mitigate urban runoff and grow resources. The integrated design process creates a dynamic landscape that incorporates water harvesting features and other site elements to produce a cohesive relationship between humans and nature.

The lines below show water flow, you'll notice within each flow there's a water harvesting feature to slow spread and sink the water into the soil. We suggest using ollas in your garden if possible with smaller rain catchment barrels. Greywater feeds the trees and shrubs on the east side of the home. Every element works together for the greater good of the landscape.
